2004 Voices of Eden
Eliana Gilad, Vocals, Bendir (Frame Drum), Tam Tam (Morrocan bongos), Indian Ankle Bells.
Samir Makhoul, violin. Sunita, Celtic harp
Eliana and Sunita participated in a medical study of the effects of live music on premature infants. This CD was one product of their collaboration.
The seven exotic and wordless lullabies are designed to relax frazzled adults and to help babies sleep. Each piece concentrates upon one of the seven main energy centers (chakras).
The soothing vocals, Eastern percussion, harp & violin relaxes the listener as they balance polarities and cleanse the chakras. The vocals are intentionally wordless. This conscious use of voice bypasses the intellect allowing the listener to connect with a deeper level of consciousness. There is no limiting factor of language. |
