About NEVEL
Mission
-
Bring harp music to therapeutic settings such as hospitals.
-
Teach harp to disadvantaged and at-risk youngsters.
-
Stimulate more diverse use of harps in Israel.
Ongoing activities include harp therapy in hospitals, educational programs for harp players, workshops, and teaching the use of the harp for therapeutic and spiritual goals.
This includes training and placing harp players in medical and therapeutic settings, and aiming to reach populations not typically exposed to the instrument: for example, the economically and socially disadvantaged, and those with health impairments - physical, emotional and/or spiritual.
“Our object is to create a spiritual environment around the patient.”
