Tiferet Hospital Program

The TIFERET project works closely with the oncology department at Sha’are Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem and Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba.

A number of NEVEL members play harp music at the  bedside of patients in hospital and home hospice settings, as an integral part of their therapeutic training.

Members participating in the program are required to complete the coursework of a highly respected US based program , which leads to certification as a harp therapist. The certification program is managed by Laurie Riley, who was the founder of the Music for Healing and Transition Program which has certified hundreds of harp practitioners since its founding in 1995.
